The Sapphire Dragon in a red Quartz TPT® case
An RM 57-03 Tourbillon Sapphire Dragon in red Quartz TPT®, on a black strap.
The dragon that encircles the manually wound tourbillon is made of sapphire and gold. Its head and feet are carved in red gold, which sets off the crystalline texture of the sapphire, and its scales, tongue and eyes are painted with gold. The engravers of Olivier Vaucher in Geneva created it, and the sapphire was shaped by laser micro-cutting.
