A red gold case with baguette-set bezels
This execution places the RM 57-03 dragon in a red gold case whose upper and lower bezels are set with baguette-cut black stones, arranged in a continuous band. The crown is likewise black, and the strap black rubber.
The dial is the standard RM 57-03 sculpture: a sapphire-bodied dragon joined to solid red gold head, tail, limbs and spine, with red-painted tongue and eyes and a ruby endstone at the tourbillon.

Design and engineering

- Sapphire dragonThe body sections are machined and polished from a block of sapphire by the Geneva engraving house Olivier Vaucher, who developed a polishing process for the material, then joined to solid red gold parts forming the head, tail, limbs and spine.
- Red-painted detailThe dragon’s tongue and eyes are hand-painted red, matching the ruby endstone of the tourbillon, which is set in a rose gold chaton.
- Baguette settingBaguette-cut black stones run along the upper and lower bezels in a continuous band, against the polished red gold of the caseband and case sides. A cut, not a coverage level: it describes the shape of the stones rather than how much of the case they occupy.
