A Gold Carbon TPT® case with a red gold crown
This execution of the RM 57-03 Tourbillon Sapphire Dragon uses Gold Carbon TPT®, a variant of the composite in which gold-coloured layers are introduced into the carbon stack, producing gold striations through the case surface. Gold inserts run along the caseband flanks and the crown is red gold, on a black rubber strap.
The dial construction matches the rest of the RM 57-03 series: a dragon whose body is carved from sapphire and joined to solid red gold head, tail, limbs and spine, with tongue and eyes hand-painted red and a ruby tourbillon endstone in a rose gold chaton.

Design and engineering
- Calibre RM57-03Manual winding tourbillon indicating hours and minutes, on a grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges, running at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with a 48-hour power reserve.
- Gold Carbon TPT®Carbon filaments interleaved with gold-coloured layers no thicker than 30 microns, stacked with the fibre orientation rotated between plies and consolidated under heat and pressure before CNC machining. The layering produces a striated surface pattern that differs on every case.
- Sapphire dragonThe body sections are machined and polished from a block of sapphire by the Geneva engraving house Olivier Vaucher, who developed a polishing process for the material, then joined to solid red gold parts forming the head, tail, limbs and spine.
- Red-painted detailThe dragon’s tongue and eyes are hand-painted red, matching the ruby endstone of the tourbillon, which is set in a rose gold chaton.
- Three-part tonneau caseThree-part tonneau case measuring 42.70 mm across and 14.55 mm thick, with sapphire crystals front and back and a water resistance of 50 m.
- Red gold crownSet against the gold-striated composite of the case.
