Green sapphire over the titanium mask

The case is green sapphire — bezel, caseband and caseback — with the mask in dark titanium at the centre, so the two read as figure against ground rather than as a matched pair. The strap is white.

Producing a coloured sapphire case means growing the crystal with the colour in it, then milling and grinding the case from solid blocks, with breakage common enough through the process to account for much of the cost.
