Overview
White Quartz TPT® bezel, Quartz TPT® caseback and satin-finished titanium caseband
Presented in November 2023 in an edition of 50 pieces, this RM 21-02 combines white Quartz TPT® and titanium for the bezel, Quartz TPT® for the caseback, and a caseband in satin-finished grade 5 titanium with pillars in Carbon TPT®. The case is assembled with 20 grade 5 titanium spline screws.
The layered materials are impregnated with black and white matrices, woven with the weft turning 45° between layers, then cured at 120 °C under pressure. The baseplate is honeycombed orthorhombic HAYNES 214 over a Carbon TPT® core, with the winding barrel and tourbillon placed centrally.

- Three-material caseQuartz TPT®, Carbon TPT® and grade 5 titanium are combined across bezel, caseband, pillars and caseback. Richard Mille describes the result as among the most involved case constructions it has manufactured.
- HAYNES 214 honeycomb baseplateA nickel-chromium-aluminium-iron alloy in a honeycombed geometry with black PVD, over a Carbon TPT® core.
- Arabic numeral hour markersThe openworked dial carries Arabic numerals for the hours, with colour used to distinguish the power-reserve and torque indications.
- Crown and pusherThe crown sits at 3 o’clock with a push button that changes the selected function, shown at 4 o’clock.
- Case constructionTwenty grade 5 titanium spline screws with abrasion-resistant 316L stainless steel washers; water resistance 50 metres.
