Pale Quartz TPT® execution of the Tourbillon Aerodyne
This record carries the RM 21-02 reference, whose case measures 42.68 × 50.12 × 14.30 mm, and shows a pale blue and white layered composite case on a pale blue strap. Richard Mille publishes no RM 21-02 execution under this name: the documented colourways are green Quartz TPT® of December 2022, white Quartz TPT® of November 2023 and Caribbean blue Quartz TPT® of 2024, each of 50 pieces, and this matches none of them.
The calibre and case architecture are those of the RM 21-02: a Carbon TPT® baseplate combined with a honeycombed structure in black-PVD-treated HAYNES 214, with the winding barrel and tourbillon placed centrally on four-armed titanium bridges, and torque, power-reserve and function-selector indications around them.

Design and engineering
- HAYNES 214 honeycomb baseplateA nickel-chromium-aluminium-iron alloy in a honeycombed geometry, black PVD treated, combined with a Carbon TPT® core. The honeycomb structure is assembled by juxtaposing and laser-welding individual cells.
- Central barrel and tourbillonBoth sit centrally within the aerodynamic structure, carried on titanium bridges with four arms on either side.
- Torque indicatorThe indicator at 1 o’clock reports the internal tension of the mainspring.
- Function selectorA hand at 4 o’clock shows the selected position, changed by the pusher on the crown at 3 o’clock.
- Case constructionTwenty grade 5 titanium spline screws with abrasion-resistant 316L stainless steel washers; the casing ring is eliminated.
