Overview
Satin-finished grade 5 titanium around the RM17-02 tourbillon
An RM 17-02 Tourbillon in satin-finished grade 5 titanium on a black textile strap, with a black crown and a silver-toned cap. Under the sapphire dial, bridges in blue PVD and gold frame the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, read against large Arabic numerals.
Presented in 2024, the titanium RM 17-02 houses the calibre RM17-02 under a sapphire dial. The baseplate is grade 5 titanium with a black PVD treatment, and the same finishes show through the case back. The calibre is a manual winding tourbillon that runs for around 70 hours. A scale at 2 o’clock shows the power reserve. At 4 o’clock, in the manner of a car’s gearbox, a function indicator shows winding, neutral or hand-setting as the crown is pulled out.

- Dynamometric crownProtects the winding stem and prevents excessive pressure from damaging the barrel.
- Function indicatorA hand at 4 o’clock shows winding, neutral or hand-setting as the crown is pulled out.
- Power-reserve indicatorA scale at 2 o’clock.
- Movement on rubber mountsNo casing ring is used: the movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW) fixed by grade 5 titanium screws.
