Grade 5 titanium case with the CRMA9 extra-flat calibre
This is the titanium version of the RM 16-02 Automatic Extraflat, released alongside the Terracotta Quartz TPT® model in 2025. The case is grade 5 titanium, microblasted and satin-finished with polished bevels. Case dimensions, construction and movement are common to both versions.
The calibre CRMA9 is a two-hand skeletonised automatic movement 4.12 mm thick, developed for this model. Its baseplate occupies the full visible surface of the watch, with the going train and balance concealed behind titanium bridges on the reverse.

Design and engineering
- Grade 5 titanium caseThe alloy is 90% titanium, 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium. The case combines microblasted, satin and polished finishes across the three components.
- Baseplate and bridgesBaseplate and bridges are grade 5 titanium with electroplasma treatment, satin-finished, microblasted and bevelled by hand. Both were validated separately under ageing and shock-resistance testing.
- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaCalibration is by four adjustable weights on the balance rather than a regulator index.
- Fast-rotating barrelThe barrel completes one revolution every 5 hours instead of 7.5, which reduces periodic internal adhesion of the mainspring.
- Spline screws in grade 5 titaniumBridges and case use grade 5 titanium spline screws, allowing controlled torque at assembly and repeated disassembly without degradation.
