Carbon TPT® case with a set red gold centre frame
Carbon TPT® is built from layers of parallel carbon filaments no thicker than 30 microns, impregnated with resin and laid with the weft rotated between plies, so that the striations on every case are different.
Here the material is paired with red gold, which appears on the inner bezel and on the dial-centre frame, the latter set with diamonds around a dark skeletonised panel. A blue ring frames the dial aperture, the hands are red gold and the strap is dark rubber.

Design and engineering
- Carbon TPT® with red goldLayers of parallel carbon filaments no thicker than 30 microns, impregnated with resin and laid with the weft rotated between plies, cured under heat and pressure and machined on CNC at Richard Mille; no two cases carry the same figure.
- Set dial-centre frameThe red gold frame around the dial centre is set with diamonds; the panel inside it is left as dark skeletonised movement rather than paved.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock and driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push, in the manner of a gearbox; an aperture alongside shows W, N or H. A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Baseplate and bridges in grade 5 titaniumMicroblasted and electroplasma treated for rigidity and the surface flatness the gear train requires. Both were validation-tested separately for strength.
- Flat-head movement screwsGrade 5 titanium screws with six-holed heads, based on the snake-eye concept used where exact torque is required, holding the date and function selectors while still allowing them to rotate.
