Overview
Carbon TPT® case with an unset dial centre
This execution leaves the dial centre of the Carbon TPT® case unset, so that the skeletonised CRMA1 is visible.
The layered striations of the Carbon TPT® run across bezel and caseband, the pushers are white metal and the inner bezel carries a gold-toned frame.

Design and engineering
- Carbon TPT®Layers of parallel carbon filaments no thicker than 30 microns, impregnated with resin and laid with the weft rotated between plies, cured under heat and pressure and machined on CNC at Richard Mille; no two cases carry the same figure.
- Unset dial centreThe openworked calibre is left visible; the watch carries no stones.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock and driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push, in the manner of a gearbox; a hand displays the selected function: W (Winding) – N (Neutral) – H (Hand Setting). A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Patented stem-crown assemblyThe crown is part of the case rather than the movement, so no classical crown attachment penetrates to the heart of the calibre. It is sealed with an Alcryn® O-ring and collar.
- Case productionThe empty case requires more than 255 tooling operations and over five hours of glazing and polishing at the final stage; the profile is cut on a five-axis machine, and the Richard Mille engraving on the inside curve of the caseback takes 45 minutes per case.
