TZP black ceramic and red gold, with an onyx dial centre
TZP is Richard Mille’s designation for black and coloured ceramic, chosen for hardness and scratch resistance. Here it forms the bezel and caseback, with red gold on the crown, the pushers and the inner bezel.
The dial-centre plate is red gold set with diamonds, framing a black panel; the hands are red gold and the strap black rubber.

- TZP black ceramicMatte and opaque, retaining its surface without the tonal shift that metal takes on with wear.
- Onyx dial centreA stone panel set into the red gold centre plate, closing off the middle of the movement while the calibre remains visible around it.
- Set centre plateThe red gold frame around the onyx is set with diamonds.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock and driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push, in the manner of a gearbox; an aperture alongside shows W, N or H. A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Variable-geometry rotorHeavy external outside edge and edge ring in ARCAP, weight segment in heavy metal, ceramic ball bearings and a OneWay® winding system, allowing the winding rate to be set to the wearer’s activity level.
