A tapestry dial and moon phase for the Égérie line
The Vacheron Constantin Égérie Moon Phase, reference 8005F/000R-H157, a limited edition of 100 pieces in 18K pink gold with a pink mother-of-pearl tapestry dial, on a hand-painted pink calfskin strap. Self-winding calibre 1088 L with moon phase and central seconds; 37 mm, 10.23 mm high, with two further straps included.
This execution is a limited edition of 100 pieces, in 18K pink gold on calibre 1088 L. The dial is pink mother-of-pearl, with lilac mother-of-pearl clouds around the moon phase, and it comes on a pink calfskin leather strap, with a hand-painted calfskin strap among the two further straps supplied -- the brand notes this makes each example unique.
The dial centre carries a pleated pattern the brand produces with what it calls its tapestry technique, with an off-centred moon-phase display ringed by 36 round-cut diamonds (approximately 0.1 carats) in front of mother-of-pearl clouds. A further 58 round-cut diamonds are set through the case, and the crown carries a moonstone. The case measures 37 mm across and 10.23 mm high, water-resistant to 30 m, with a transparent sapphire case back.
The movement is the self-winding calibre 1088 L: 30 mm across, 5.03 mm high, 164 parts and 24 jewels, running at 28,800 V.P.H. (4 Hz) for a stated 40-hour power reserve, driving hours, minutes, central seconds, the moon phase and a balance-stop function.
