Overview
A Carbon TPT® bezel with a turquoise flange
Richard Mille has been a principal sponsor of Les Voiles de St Barth, the Caribbean regatta founded in 2010, since its inception, and issued a watch for it each year; the winner of the event received one. The RM 028 carried the first edition in 2010, and the RM 60-01 took over subsequently.
This execution has a Carbon TPT® bezel — the first time the composite was used for the rotating bezel — over a titanium case, with a turquoise flange carrying dot indices, a yellow running-seconds hand at 3 o’clock, and a black rubber strap. The Les Voiles de St Barth Richard Mille logo appears on the caseback.

Design and engineering
- Calibre RMAC2An automatic winding movement with hours, minutes, running seconds at 3 o’clock, oversize date, month, annual calendar, flyback chronograph with central seconds counter, countdown timer at 9 o’clock, 24-hour totaliser at 6 o’clock, UTC function and adjustable rotor geometry. The movement is 39.15 mm in diameter and 9.00 mm thick, on 62 jewels at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
- Carbon TPT® bezelThe rotating bezel is produced in the layered carbon composite, machined so that the layer structure is exposed as striations. Layers of parallel carbon filaments, each no thicker than 30 microns, stacked with the fibre orientation rotated between layers and consolidated under heat and pressure. Milling exposes the layers, so the striation pattern differs on every case.
- Navigation by sun and local timeThe bezel carries north, south, east and west alongside a 360° graduation and a 24-hour disc. The UTC indicator is aimed at the sun using the pusher at 9 o’clock, then the bezel is turned until the UTC hand aligns with the local time engraved on it, at which point the compass headings correspond to actual directions — in either hemisphere, without further calculation.
- Annual calendarThe calendar distinguishes 30- and 31-day months, with an oversize date at 12 o’clock and the month indicated between 4 and 5 o’clock.
- Chronograph pusher lockThe flyback pushers are locked and released by a quick turn of the secondary crown, marked with red and green arrows, which prevents accidental operation.
- Four-part caseAssembled with 46 grade 5 titanium spline screws and abrasion-resistant 316L stainless steel washers, sealed by two nitrile O-rings to 100 m.
