A mask that is also the wheel train and tourbillon bridge
Richard Mille returned to the theme of the RM 052 Skull with the RM 52-06, replacing the skull with a mask whose reading is deliberately left open. The mask is not decoration: made of PVD-treated grade 5 titanium or white gold, it is an integral component, serving as the wheel-train and tourbillon bridge, with the back of the mask acting as the centre bridge.
This execution pairs red Quartz TPT® with white, on a white strap. It is one of four case versions, each limited to 18 pieces for Richard Mille boutiques in the Americas.

- Quartz TPT®Fibres aligned in layers no thicker than 45 microns and saturated in resins developed for Richard Mille, stacked by an automatic positioning system that shifts the orientation 45° between layers, then heated to 120 °C at 6 bar and machined on CNC in-house.
