Row setting across the bezel, flanks and crown guard
The tripartite tonneau case is a red layered composite carrying set stones: continuous rows across the upper and lower bezel, single rows down each caseband flank, and further stones on the crown guard. The crown is red and the strap is black fabric.
Beneath the skeletonised dial is the calibre RMAL1, the first automatic movement in the Nadal collection, with a variable-geometry rotor and a double barrel giving around 55 hours.

Design and engineering
- Row settingStones are set in continuous rows across the upper and lower bezel and in single rows down each flank, with the crown guard set to match. The bezel screws are left exposed between them.
- Red layered composite caseTripartite tonneau construction, with the pale striations of the composite visible between the set rows.
- Variable-geometry rotorRichard Mille’s patented system, allowing the winding rate to be matched to the wearer’s activity by adjusting the rotor’s inertia.
- Double-barrel systemSupplies the 55-hour power reserve.
- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaThe regulator index is eliminated; regulation is by four small weights set directly on the balance.
