Red layered case, black crown, red rubber strap
The tripartite tonneau case is Quartz TPT® Red, with pale striations of undyed quartz fibre running through the red matrix. The crown is black, the flange carries the yellow RM35-02 plaque, and the watch is fitted to a red rubber strap.
The calibre RMAL1 is skeletonised and automatic, with hours, minutes and seconds, a variable-geometry rotor and a double barrel giving around 55 hours, visible through the sapphire caseback.

- Quartz TPT® RedSilica filaments divided into layers under 45 microns thick, impregnated with resin and cured; the white layers are undyed quartz, the colour supplied by the red matrix.
- Variable-geometry rotorRichard Mille’s patented system, allowing the winding rate to be matched to the wearer’s activity by adjusting the rotor’s inertia.
- Double-barrel systemDistributes stored energy across two barrels, evening out torque and reducing load on bearings and pivots.
- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaThe regulator index is eliminated; regulation is by four small weights set directly on the balance.
