This RM 35-01 carries Carbon TPT® through all three case parts — front bezel, caseband and back bezel — and through the crown, which is sealed by a red Alcryn O-ring. Richard Mille gives the total weight of the watch as 50.3 grams.
The flange holds the yellow RM35-01 RAFA plaque and the crown is red. The strap is black fabric, lined with a rubber composite and fastened by Velcro at the 6 o’clock side.

- Carbon TPT® tripartite caseLayers of woven carbon filament averaging 30 microns, orientation shifted 45° between successive plies. The crown is executed in the same material, with a red Alcryn O-ring seal.
- Calibre RMUL3Grade 5 titanium construction with black PVD, weighing four grams, validated under shocks exceeding 5,000 g.
- Double-barrel systemTwo barrels supply the 55-hour reserve and even out torque delivery across it.
- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaThe regulator index is eliminated; regulation is by four small weights set directly on the balance.
- Case assembly20 grade 5 titanium spline screws with abrasion-resistant 316L stainless steel washers, sealed by two Nitrile O-rings and water resistant to 50 metres.
- Fabric strapNylon lined with a rubber composite, fastened by Velcro on the 6 o’clock side.
