Overview
Dark blue Quartz TPT® bezels over a paler caseband
The dark blue Quartz TPT® RM 30-01 was announced in 2025, the first RM 30-01 execution in a coloured TPT® material. Quartz TPT® is formed from silica filaments roughly 45 microns thick, layered at alternating angles and impregnated with resin, then cured and machined; the colour is carried in the resin.
The watch shows dark blue layered bezels front and back with a distinctly paler caseband, on a grey rubber strap. Published accounts differ on whether that caseband is white Quartz TPT® or the case is dark blue throughout, so the bezel material alone is stated here.

Design and engineering
- Quartz TPT®Silica filaments are divided into thin layers, impregnated with resin, laid with the weft rotated between plies and cured under heat and pressure before machining, producing a striated surface unique to each case.
- Declutchable variable-geometry rotorDisengages from the barrel at 55 hours of reserve and re-engages at 40 hours, keeping the mainspring within a narrower torque band.
- Function selectorA pusher at 2 o’clock selects winding, date setting or hand setting, in the manner of a gearbox; a hand at 3 o’clock displays the mode selected.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, in a horizontal aperture at 4 o’clock.
- Double-barrel systemTwo barrels share the stored energy, reducing load on the teeth, bearings and pivots.
- Grade 5 titanium spline screwsUsed for both bridges and case, allowing controlled torque at assembly.
