- TZP ceramicTZP is a tetragonal zirconia polycrystal ceramic. Richard Mille uses the designation for black and coloured ceramic cases and reserves ATZ for white.
- Power-reserve indicatorA scale at 2 o’clock shows the hours of energy remaining before rewinding.
- Function indicatorA hand at 4 o’clock shows the position selected as the crown is drawn out: winding, neutral or hand-setting.
- Central involute profileThe winding-barrel teeth and third-wheel pinion use a central involute profile giving a 20° pressure angle, which compensates for variation in going-train engagement.
- Ceramic endstone for the tourbillon cageThe endstone reduces wear at the tourbillon cage bearing.
