Overview
Stones set directly into Carbon TPT®, in vertical rows
Setting stones into Carbon TPT® requires the seats to be machined into the composite rather than cut by hand, since the material cannot be worked with conventional setting tools. Here the technique is applied across the bezel and caseband in vertical rows, divided by red gold rails.
The dial-centre plate is set to match, framing a dark carbon panel, with red gold on the crown, the pushers and the inner bezel, and a black rubber strap.

Design and engineering
- Setting in Carbon TPT®The seats are machined into the composite, which allows stones to be set without the metal collars a hand-cut seat would need.
- Row settingStones run in vertical rows across the bezel and down the caseband flanks, separated by red gold rails.
- Set dial-centre plateThe centre frame is set to match the case, around a dark carbon panel.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock and driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push, in the manner of a gearbox; an aperture alongside shows W, N or H. A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Variable-geometry rotorHeavy external outside edge and edge ring in ARCAP, weight segment in heavy metal, ceramic ball bearings and a OneWay® winding system, allowing the winding rate to be set to the wearer’s activity level.
