Gold Carbon TPT®, a composite of carbon and gold leaf
Gold Carbon TPT® is an exclusive Richard Mille composite in which gold leaf is layered with carbon, so that the gold reads as a fine grain running through the dark material rather than as an applied surface.
The case is executed in it, with yellow gold accent strips at the lugs, a yellow gold crown and pushers, and a gold dial-centre frame set with black stones around a black panel, on a black rubber strap.

- Set gold centre frameThe dial-centre frame is gold, set with black stones around a black panel.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock and driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push, in the manner of a gearbox; an aperture alongside shows W, N or H. A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Fast-rotating barrelOne revolution in five hours rather than the conventional 7.5, which improves the mainspring’s delta curve.
- Going train with 20° pressure angleDeveloped specifically for the CRMA1, evening out discrepancies between wheel axles under thermal change and normal use.
