Carbon TPT® case with red detailing
The retailer record identifies this as an RM 011 in Carbon TPT®, not an RM 11-03. The case is machined from the layered carbon composite Richard Mille introduced on the RM 011 in October 2013, the first watch case made from the material.
Red is used across the counter rings and flange against the black composite case, and the watch is on a black rubber strap. The dial is skeletonised with applied Arabic numerals.

Design and engineering
- Carbon TPT® caseMore than 600 layers of parallel carbon filaments obtained by dividing carbon fibres, each layer a maximum of 30 microns thick. The layers are impregnated with resin and woven on a machine that rotates the direction of the weft by 45° between successive layers, raising multi-axial rigidity.
- Curing and machiningThe stack is heated to 120 °C at a pressure of 6 bar to produce a solid block, then CNC machined at Richard Mille’s ProArt case facility. Because the machining cuts across the layers, the finished surface exposes them as a pattern of undulations unique to each case.
- Red detailingRed is applied to the counter rings and the flange carrying the tachymetric scale.
- Calibre RMAC1Skeletonised automatic winding movement in grade 5 titanium, hand finished, with flyback chronograph, 60-minute countdown timer at 9 o’clock, 12-hour totaliser at 6 o’clock, oversize date at 12 o’clock, month indicator between 4 and 5 o’clock and annual calendar.
- Case assembly20 grade 5 titanium spline screws with 316L stainless steel washers; the movement is carried on rubber O-ring seals with silent blocks.
