The Patek Philippe Complications Flyback Chronograph, Annual Calendar, Joaillerie, reference 5961P-001, in platinum with the bezel set with 36 baguette-cut diamonds (3.66 cts), a royal blue opaline dial, on a shiny navy blue alligator strap. Self-winding calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H with a 60-minute and 12-hour monocounter; 40.5 mm, 13.5 mm high.
The platinum execution carries a royal blue opaline dial — matt blue in Patek Philippe's description — with white gold applied hour markers set with baguette diamonds and white gold leaf-shaped hands with white luminescent coating, on a shiny navy blue alligator strap with a platinum fold-over clasp set with diamonds. A diamond is set into the case at 6 o'clock.
The reference 5961 is Patek Philippe's self-winding flyback chronograph with Annual Calendar in a gem-set Joaillerie execution, in the Complications collection. The case is 40.5 mm across and 13.5 mm high, and its bezel is set with 36 baguette-cut diamonds (3.66 cts); the fold-over clasp carries 22 more (1.02 cts) and the hour markers 8 (0.24 ct), a total Patek Philippe gives as 66 baguette-cut diamonds (4.92 cts).
The calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H is self-winding, wound by a 21K gold central rotor, and Patek Philippe describes its dial layout as original: the calendar apertures for day, date and month, with the day/night indication, run along the arc of a circle, and the chronograph's 60 minutes and 12 hours are read on one large monocounter rather than two.
