The Luce with a self-winding movement
The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce, reference 5268/200R-010, in rose gold with the bezel set with 48 diamonds, a taupe varnished dial with embossed Aquanaut pattern, on a taupe composite strap. Self-winding calibre 26-330 S C with date at 3 o'clock, sweep seconds and stop-seconds; 38.8 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock, 8.5 mm high.
The reference 5268/200R-010 is the Aquanaut Luce automatic in rose gold, the self-winding form of the ladies' Aquanaut, with the rounded octagonal bezel set with a row of 48 diamonds (1.17 cts) and its bevels polished. The dial is taupe varnished with the embossed Aquanaut pattern and rose gold applied numerals, matched by a taupe composite strap with a rose gold patented fold-over clasp; Patek Philippe describes the shade as a warm grey. The case is 38.8 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock and 8.5 mm high, with a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal back.
The movement is the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C: 27 mm across, 3.32 mm high, 207 parts and 30 jewels, wound by a 21K gold central rotor and seen through the case back. The date sits in an aperture at 3 o'clock and the seconds run from the centre, with the stop-seconds function Patek Philippe names, which halts the seconds hand when the crown is pulled so the time can be set to the second. It beats at 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour on a Gyromax® balance with a Spiromax® balance spring, for a power reserve of 35 to 45 hours, and carries the Patek Philippe Seal.
