The reference 5168 is the Aquanaut with date and sweep seconds in its larger case, 42.2 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock and 8.25 mm high, which Patek Philippe presents as the large Aquanaut. The rounded octagonal bezel is finished in contrasting polished and satin surfaces, the crown screws down and the back is sapphire crystal.
The movement is the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C: 27 mm across, 3.32 mm high, 207 parts and 30 jewels, wound by a 21K gold central rotor. The date sits in an aperture and the seconds run from the centre.
