Overview
Two time zones in the colours of India’s flag
The Jacob & Co. Salman Khan Dual Time Zone, reference DT100.10.AB.AA.ABALA, in a steel case, 43 mm across and 14 mm high. Its blue PVD titanium dial has stamped continents with a rose gold finish and orange and green sub-dials, on a blue alligator leather strap with a steel pin buckle.
This version was made with the Indian film star Salman Khan. The sub-dials follow the colours of India’s flag, and his initials, SK, stand where the 30-minute index would sit at 6 o’clock. A small seconds hand shaped like a wind rose sits at the centre, over a printed Ashoka Chakra, the 24-spoke wheel from the flag.
Self-winding calibre JCAA14 has 206 components, 33 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. It keeps two independent time zones, each with its own hours and minutes, and each can be set to the minute. The crown has three positions: winding, setting the lower zone and setting the upper zone.
