A pebble-shaped case set with diamonds
The Jacob & Co. Brilliant Pavé, reference BQ020.10.RH.AA.A, in a stainless steel case, 38 mm across and 10 mm high. Its stainless steel dial is pavé-set with 239 white diamonds and the case with 333, on a white satin strap with a stainless steel pin buckle.
The case, caseback, dial and pin buckle are stainless steel, and the crown is set with white diamonds like the case and dial.
Jacob & Co. introduced the Brilliant collection of ladies’ watches in 2017: round, without lugs, with the strap attached directly to the case. Brilliant Pavé is the version set with diamonds from dial to case, and Jacob & Co. says it chose the brilliant cut exclusively.
Pavé setting is a demanding technique, in which stones sit close together with no bare surface between them. Jacob & Co. describes the case as a pebble shape whose rounded edges give the collection its brilliance. Quartz calibre JCGQ01 shows hours and minutes.
