Hand Made 2 is the second watch in the Hand Made collection and, by the brand's account, its furthest step into making by hand: the movement's 270 components take over 5,000 hours to complete, and 96% of them are made entirely by hand. The balance spring is the centre of the claim. Since 2012 the brand has been reworking the older methods of making springs by hand: an alloy chosen for the spring, coiled, cut and its terminal curves adjusted by hand to match the balance it will run with. Around it the movement takes the look of eighteenth-century work — barrel and balance bridges with five hand finishes each (frosting, black polishing, straight graining, polished flanks and bevels, and polished chamfers), olive-domed jewels in gold chatons, and a large conical jewel the brand uses as the emblem of the piece. The German silver plates are hand-frosted; the hours, small seconds and power reserve are read off Grand Feu enamel dials under blued steel hands, and a thin bezel leaves the movement open to view.

The two Hand Made watches differ in what they set out to prove. Hand Made 1 carries a tourbillon and is made one a year; Hand Made 2 drops the tourbillon for a four-hand layout in a smaller 40.9 mm case, and it is the movement's 270 parts and the 96% hand-made figure that the brand puts forward, not a complication.
