The Santos de Cartier, reference WGSA0030, in an 18-carat yellow gold case, 41.9 x 35.1 mm and 8.83 mm thick, with a silvered opaline dial. Manufacture calibre 1847 MC with automatic winding, on an 18-carat yellow gold bracelet with the SmartLink adjustment system.
Cartier traces the Santos de Cartier to 1904, when Louis Cartier met the wish of the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont to tell the time while flying. Cartier picks out the dial's rounded angles, the continuous curve of the horns and the visible screws.
This is the medium model. The movement is the Manufacture calibre 1847 MC with automatic winding, which shows the hours, minutes and seconds.
