A tapestry dial and moon phase for the Égérie line
The Vacheron Constantin Égérie Moon Phase, reference 8005F/120A-B497, in stainless steel with an opaline silvered tapestry dial, white gold hands and a blued seconds hand, on a polished and satin-finished steel bracelet with its triple folding clasp. Self-winding calibre 1088 L with moon phase and central seconds; 37 mm, 10.23 mm high.
This execution is in stainless steel, on a polished and satin-finished steel bracelet with a matching triple folding clasp and no further straps supplied. The dial carries the opaline silvered tapestry pattern, and its hour and minute hands are 18K white gold, with a blued seconds hand.
The dial centre carries a pleated pattern the brand produces with what it calls its tapestry technique, with an off-centred moon-phase display ringed by 36 round-cut diamonds (approximately 0.1 carats) in front of mother-of-pearl clouds. A further 58 round-cut diamonds are set through the case, and the crown carries a moonstone. The case measures 37 mm across and 10.23 mm high, water-resistant to 30 m, with a transparent sapphire case back.
The movement is the self-winding calibre 1088 L: 30 mm across, 5.03 mm high, 164 parts and 24 jewels, running at 28,800 V.P.H. (4 Hz) for a stated 40-hour power reserve, driving hours, minutes, central seconds, the moon phase and a balance-stop function.
