This execution is in stainless steel rather than gold, on a polished and satin-finished steel bracelet with a matching triple folding clasp and no further straps supplied. The dial keeps the opaline silvered tapestry pattern but its hour and minute hands are 18K white gold, with a blued seconds hand, rather than the pink-toned hands of the gold executions.
Vacheron Constantin's Égérie Moon Phase is offered across this family in 18K pink gold or stainless steel. The dial centre carries a pleated pattern the brand produces with what it calls its tapestry technique, in a shade that varies by execution, with an off-centred moon-phase display ringed by 36 round-cut diamonds (approximately 0.1 carats) in front of mother-of-pearl clouds. A further 58 round-cut diamonds are set through the case, and the crown carries a moonstone. The case measures 37 mm across and 10.23 mm high, water-resistant to 30 m, with a transparent sapphire case back.
