A 1950s-styled sector dial, self-winding
The Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix Self-Winding, reference 4600E/000A-B487, in stainless steel with a petrol blue-toned double-finished dial and dark blue alligator leather strap, closed by a steel triple folding clasp. Self-winding calibre 1326 with central seconds and an aperture date; 40 mm, 9.6 mm high.
This execution is the same Fiftysix Self-Winding case and calibre 1326 movement as the pink gold reference, in stainless steel, with the same petrol blue-toned double-finished dial as the bracelet execution but worn on a dark blue alligator leather strap, closed by a stainless steel triple folding clasp.
This execution belongs to Vacheron Constantin's Fiftysix Self-Winding line. The case measures 40 mm across and 9.6 mm high, with a date window at 3 o'clock and a two-finish dial -- an opaline centre against a sunburst satin outer ring -- carrying 18K gold baton-type hands and Arabic-numeral hour-markers, both highlighted in blue SuperLuminova®. Through the sapphire case back the self-winding movement is visible, along with an oscillating weight the brand shapes after the Maltese cross.
Inside is the self-winding calibre 1326: 26.2 mm across, 4.3 mm high, with 142 parts and 25 jewels, running at 28,800 V.P.H. (4 Hz) for a stated 48-hour power reserve, driving the hours, minutes, central seconds and an aperture date, with a balance-stop function. The reference is offered across several case metals and dial colours, on a leather strap closed by an Ardillon buckle or triple folding clasp, or -- on one execution -- the case's own metal bracelet; none of the pages in this group carries a Certification row on the Watch tab.
