Overview
A softer curvature on the Patrimony case
The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Self-Winding, reference 4110U/000G-B906, in 18K white gold with a deep blue gradient dial and dark blue alligator leather strap. Self-winding calibre 2450 Q6/3 with date and central seconds; 36.5 mm, 8.45 mm high, certified to the Hallmark of Geneva.
This execution is the same 36.5 mm Patrimony Self-Winding case and calibre 2450 Q6/3 movement as the pink gold reference, in 18K white gold. The dial is deep blue rather than blush pink, set within a convex outer zone, with the 18K gold leaf-shaped hands and applied hour-markers standing against it. The strap is dark blue alligator leather, closed by a white gold Ardillon buckle.
The reference 4110U is Vacheron Constantin's self-winding Patrimony built for a slimmer wrist, with the case curvature drawn from the Patrimony line's 1950s look and offered in two 36.5 mm executions: 18K pink gold with a blush pink gradient dial, and 18K white gold with a deep blue gradient dial. Both carry a diamond-set circular minute track -- 48 round-cut diamonds, approximately 0.13 carats -- with a date window at 6 o'clock and 18K gold leaf-shaped hour and minute hands. The case is 8.45 mm high, water-resistant to 30 m, with a transparent sapphire case back. Both come on an alligator leather strap that releases at a single push-button, without a tool.
The self-winding calibre 2450 Q6/3 drives hours, minutes, central seconds and a date by aperture, with a balance-stop function: 26.2 mm across, 3.6 mm high, 196 parts and 27 jewels, running at 28,800 V.P.H. (4 Hz) for a stated 40-hour power reserve. Both executions are certified to the Hallmark of Geneva, which the brand's page traces to a standard the Republic and Canton of Geneva set in 1886, describing it today as a mark of quality craftsmanship rather than any single figure.
For collectors
The white gold execution of this reference shares the same case size, case thickness and calibre 2450 Q6/3 movement -- the two differ only in metal, dial colour and strap colour, worth knowing when comparing the family's self-winding executions.
