Overview
French flag colours on a White Quartz TPT® case
The RM 67-02 Alexis Pinturault was made for the French alpine skier and introduced in 2018, in the second wave of RM 67-02 executions. Richard Mille’s own description of it is precise: bezel and caseback in Quartz TPT®, caseband in Carbon TPT®, and bridges hand-painted in the colours of the French flag.
The photograph matches — a white case with red and blue markings across the dial, a red crown and a blue strap. The dial itself is a sheet of titanium four tenths of a millimetre thick, black DLC-treated and then painted by hand.

Design and engineering
- Calibre CRMA7Skeletonised automatic winding movement with hours and minutes, on 25 jewels at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), with around 50 hours (± 10%) of power reserve. Richard Mille cites work on the gear-tooth profile and a faster-rotating barrel among the changes made to raise the calibre’s efficiency.
- Baseplate and bridgesGrade 5 titanium. The baseplate carries a black DLC treatment, which Richard Mille specifies for rigidity and for the surface flatness the gear train requires; the bridges carry a grey DLC treatment and are satin-finished, microblasted and bevelled by hand.
- Titanium dialMachined from a 0.40 mm titanium sheet, black DLC-coated, then hand-painted in blue, white and red.
- RotorCarbon TPT® and white gold, on the OneWay® winding system with ceramic ball bearings, which allows the barrel to be wound efficiently in an extra-flat calibre.
- Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT®Quartz TPT® is produced from silica threads divided into layers no thicker than 45 microns; Carbon TPT® from filaments divided out of carbon fibre, in layers a maximum of 30 microns thick. Both are saturated in resins developed for Richard Mille, stacked with the fibre orientation rotated by 45° between plies, cured at 120°C under 6 bar and CNC-machined at the brand’s own facilities. Silica takes colour in a way carbon does not, which is why the coloured executions in this series are Quartz rather than Carbon.
- Case assemblyWater-resistant to 30 m via two nitrile O-ring seals, assembled with 12 grade 5 titanium spline screws and 316L stainless steel washers.
- Comfort strapEntirely seamless, non-slip and highly elastic, developed so that the watch follows the contours of the individual wrist. The complete watch weighs 32 grams with the strap.
