Overview
The second RM 41-01, in dark blue Quartz TPT®
The RM 41-01 was released in two case versions. This one uses dark blue Quartz TPT® with a Carbon TPT® caseband, on a white rubber strap.
The mechanism is the same patented tourbillon flyback chronograph developed with Audemars Piguet Le Locle over five years, with the match-phase indicator, the mechanical goal counters and a 70-hour power reserve. The central minutes counter runs over a 45-minute scale with injury-time markings and a separate 15-minute overtime scale.

Design and engineering
- Dark blue Quartz TPT®Silica filaments 45 microns thick, layered with a 45° rotation between plies, impregnated with resin and cured before machining; the striations differ on every case.
- Match-phase indicatorAdvances sequentially on each flyback reset, through first half, second half, first overtime and second overtime.
- Mechanical goal countersHome and visitor counters register goals mechanically as they are scored, the second of the two complications new to this calibre.
- Patented double-column-wheel flybackA dedicated column wheel handles the reset, which is normally the most abrupt of the chronograph functions. Calibrated levers give every pusher the same activation pressure.
- Function indicatorThree titanium plates against a lacquered background, showing whether the watch is in winding, neutral or hand-setting.
- Tourbillon escapementCarried in a titanium calibre developed with Audemars Piguet Le Locle, running at 3 Hz.
