Interchangeable compass bezel, spirit level and a sealed tablet compartment
The RM 25-01 was developed with Sylvester Stallone over four years and released in 2018 in an edition of 20 pieces. The round case measures 50.85 × 23.65 mm in Carbon TPT® and titanium, water resistant to 100 metres.
Beyond the tourbillon and chronograph, the watch carries equipment not usually found in a wristwatch. A compass bezel with a mirrored cover can be swapped by the wearer for a bidirectional bezel in Carbon TPT® and titanium bearing a 24-hour scale, a 360° graduated disc and the cardinal points. A spirit level mounted on the case assists accurate compass readings. At 2 o’clock, a hermetically sealed grade 5 titanium compartment holds water purification tablets, each capable of making a litre of water safe to drink in 30 to 120 minutes depending on the level of pollution.

Design and engineering
- Competition chronographThe baseplate and bridges are machined from grade 5 titanium and support a mechanism combining a tourbillon with a chronograph of new design. Optimisation reduced the calibre’s weight while increasing precision and long-term chronometric reliability; the overall reduction in inertia comes with 50% lower energy consumption.
- Compass bezelThe compass bezel carries a mirror in its hinged cover for taking readings, and folds down over the dial. It is interchangeable with a bidirectional bezel carrying a 24-hour scale and a 360° graduated disc.
- Solar orientation by the 24-hour scaleNo calculation is needed: facing the sun with the hour hand and turning the bezel so local time reads against the 24-hour scale gives north, south, east and west in either hemisphere.
- Spirit levelMounted on the side of the case, to level the watch when taking compass readings.
- Water purification compartmentA hermetic grade 5 titanium compartment at 2 o’clock holds purification tablets.
- Torque-limiting crownProtects the movement against overwinding, with the selected function shown on the dial.
