The case is white ceramic. Richard Mille uses ATZ as its designation for white ceramic and TZP for black and coloured ceramic.

- Ceramic caseZirconia-based watch ceramics are dense, hard and highly scratch resistant, and take a finish by brushing, microblasting or hand-polished anglage.
- Baseplate and bridges in grade 5 titaniumThe alloy is 90% titanium, 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium; both components were validated separately under resistance testing.
- Ceramic endstone for the tourbillon cageThe endstone reduces wear at the tourbillon cage bearing.
- Central involute profileThe winding-barrel teeth and third-wheel pinion use a central involute profile giving a 20° pressure angle, compensating for variation in going-train engagement.
- Tripartite caseAssembled with 12 grade 5 titanium spline screws and abrasion-resistant 316L stainless steel washers, water resistant to 50 metres via two nitrile O-ring seals. No casing ring is used; the movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW).
