The bezel is set with stones in rows following the case outline, against a dark ground, with the skeletonised calibre RMUL2 and its gold hands and flange markings visible between them. The strap is black rubber.
The RM 055 was engineered for impact rather than display, so a set execution puts the setting on a case designed around supporting columns and rubberised insulation.
