White ATZ ceramic with a titanium case middle, released 2015
The Japan Edition pairs a white ATZ ceramic case with a grade 5 titanium middle, the two materials meeting along the flanks, and sets a red crown against the pale ground. The strap is white.
ATZ is formed from tubes of aluminium oxide powder injected at close to 2,000 bar, a process that raises rigidity by 20 to 30% and all but eliminates porosity. Next to diamond it is among the hardest materials in use, and the curved bezel has to be machined with diamond tooling.

- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaThe regulator index is eliminated; four small weights set directly on the balance allow accurate and repeatable adjustment.
- Double barrelEnergy is spread across two barrels, equalising torque and reducing pressure and friction on bearings and pivots.
- Luminous hour markers and handsFilled with luminescent material for legibility in low light.
