An all-black RM 055
Bezel, caseband and caseback are black throughout, with the skeletonised calibre RMUL2 reading pale against them and the strap in black rubber.
The RM 055 was developed from the RM 038 tourbillon made for Bubba Watson in 2011, carrying the same intent — a watch that could be worn through a professional golf swing — into a manual-winding movement without the tourbillon.

- Calibre RMUL2Manual winding and extremely skeletonised, in grade 5 titanium with PVD and Titalyt® treatment, giving rigidity and the surface flatness the gear train needs.
- Free-sprung balance with variable inertiaThe regulator index is eliminated; four small weights set directly on the balance allow accurate and repeatable adjustment.
- Double barrelEnergy is spread across two barrels, equalising torque and reducing pressure and friction on bearings and pivots.
- Rubberised case componentsRubber is injected at high pressure around the titanium components, insulating the movement from vibration and making the watch more comfortable on the wrist.
- Spline screws throughoutSeveral sizes, in both case and movement, giving controlled torque at assembly and surviving repeated dismantling.
- Sapphire casebackThe skeletonised calibre is legible from the reverse.
