Snow-set red gold with a mother-of-pearl centre
Snow setting covers the bezel and caseband of the red gold case and carries onto the dial-centre frame, which is white metal and holds a mother-of-pearl panel. Nacre is layered rather than uniform, so the play of light across the panel shifts with the angle of the wrist.
The hands are red gold and the strap is white rubber.

Design and engineering
- Mother-of-pearl dial centreA nacre panel cut and set into the centre plate; the material’s layered structure produces the iridescence, so the play of light shifts with the angle of the wrist.
- Snow settingStones of differing diameters are placed to fill the surface without a repeating grid, so that no metal shows between them. It is a technique rather than a point on the coverage scale that runs from unset through one row and mid to full.
- Oversize dateSemi-instantaneous, placed horizontally under 12 o’clock, driven by two skeletonised calendar discs over a white field.
- Function selectorA push-button at 4 o’clock selects winding, neutral and hand-setting with a single push; an aperture at 4 o’clock shows W, N or H. A second push-button at 10 o’clock corrects the date.
- Patented stem-crown assemblyThe crown is part of the case rather than the movement, sealed with an Alcryn® O-ring and collar, so no crown attachment penetrates to the calibre.
- Case productionThe empty case requires more than 255 tooling operations and over five hours of glazing and polishing; the cambered bezel and caseback have to marry precisely to seal against dust and moisture.
