Diver’s watch to ISO 6425, 300 metres, with a double-push-button bezel lock
The RM 028 followed the RM 025 into the diving category, arriving with a round case of 47.00 mm diameter and 14.60 mm depth — slightly smaller than the RM 025. It meets ISO 6425 with 300 metres of water resistance and a unidirectional bezel.
The water resistance comes from a three-part case with torque screws and lugs fully integrated into the case system. The bezel carries a security mechanism unusual even by the standards of diving watches: it turns only when the button at the 30-minute mark and the raised arrow button are pressed simultaneously and the bezel is turned anticlockwise.

Design and engineering
- Double-push-button bezel securityThe unidirectional bezel rotates only when both the 30-minute button and the raised arrow button are pressed at once and the bezel is turned anticlockwise, so it cannot be moved accidentally during a dive.
- Three-part case with integrated lugsWater resistance to 300 metres is achieved through the tripartite construction, torque screws, and lugs drawn into the case system rather than fixed separately.
- Variable-geometry rotorThe winding rate is adjustable to the wearer’s activity through two 18ct white gold wings on the rotor. Moving the placement of the ribs alters the rotor’s inertia, speeding the winding for someone whose arm movement is unhurried and slowing it for someone active, so the winding mechanism is set to the owner before delivery.
