The RM 022 was offered in titanium and in 18ct red or white gold; this record is the red gold execution. The case measures 48.00 × 39.70 × 13.85 mm and holds the calibre RM022, a manual-winding tourbillon with hours, minutes, a second time zone, a function selector, and power-reserve and torque indicators.
The second time zone is carried on a transparent sapphire disc inscribed with hours that rotates permanently at the centre of the dial. The figures register only when they pass the light-coloured background field at 3 o’clock. A push button on the caseband advances the indication one hour per press.

Design and engineering
- Composite baseplateA titanium exterior framework combined with honeycomb orthorhombic titanium aluminide and carbon nanofibre. The alloys derive from the titanium aluminide class, ordered on the orthorhombic phase of Ti2AlNb; the honeycomb geometry was originally researched by NASA for supersonic aircraft wing cores.
- V-profile plateSeen from the dial side the baseplate takes a trench-like V-shaped profile, the outer edges standing higher than the centre, with the barrel and tourbillon in the central depth.
- Sapphire disc dual time zoneBecause the dial is clear sapphire, the baseplate forms the face of the watch, and the rotating hour disc reads against it.
- Torque indicatorAt 1 o’clock, showing the internal tension of the mainspring.
- Function selectorA hand at 4 o’clock reports the crown position selected.
