The 2009 ‘All Gray’ dual time zone tourbillon
An RM 003-V2 with the ‘All Gray’ finished case, matt and very dark, with black screws and a black crown, on a black strap. Red accents mark the time-zone display at 3 o’clock.
Richard Mille has revisited the RM 003-V2 in many different editions, including the well-known ‘All Gray’ finished case from 2009. The RM 003 added a second time zone to the tourbillon. A sapphire disc at the centre of the movement carries black hours that seem to light up as they pass a white section at 3 o’clock. The zone is selected with the pusher at 9 o’clock. The V2 is the version built on a carbon nanofibre baseplate.

- Central dual time zoneA sapphire crystal disc carries black hours that become visible over a white section at 3 o’clock. Richard Mille later used the idea in the date windows of the RM 005, 010, 016 and 023.
