A rainbow bezel on the Luce chronograph
The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce "Rainbow" Chronograph Joaillerie, reference 7968/300R-001, in rose gold with 40 multicoloured sapphires and 40 diamonds on the bezel, a white mother-of-pearl dial, delivered with red, beige and white composite straps. Self-winding calibre CH 28-520, flyback chronograph with 60-minute counter; 39.9 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock, 10.37 mm high.
The reference 7968/300R-001 is the Aquanaut Luce "Rainbow" Chronograph Joaillerie in rose gold, a self-winding flyback chronograph whose bezel carries 40 baguette-cut multicoloured sapphires and 40 baguette-cut diamonds in what Patek Philippe calls an invisible setting. Patek Philippe presents it as its first self-winding chronograph for women. The dial is white mother-of-pearl engraved with the Aquanaut pattern, with 12 baguette-cut multicoloured sapphire hour markers and rose gold applied numerals; the case is 39.9 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock and 10.37 mm high, with the octagonal bezel and the pushers in contrasting polished and satin finishes and a sapphire crystal back.
The calibre CH 28-520 is a flyback chronograph with a vertical clutch, here without a date: 30 mm across, 5.3 mm high, 259 parts and 32 jewels, wound by a 21K gold central rotor. The chronograph hand runs from the centre with a 60-minute counter, and the flyback lets the running chronograph be returned to zero and restarted without a separate stop and reset. It beats at 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour on a Gyromax® balance with a Spiromax® balance spring, for a power reserve of 50 to 55 hours, and carries the Patek Philippe Seal. The watch is delivered with three composite straps — red as fitted, and matt beige and matt white as additional straps — closed by a rose gold patented fold-over clasp set with 10 baguette-cut diamonds (0.36 ct).

The Gemsetting block counts 52 baguette-cut multicoloured sapphires (2.62 cts) and 50 baguette-cut diamonds (2.41 cts) across bezel, hour markers and clasp, and the movement is the CH 28-520 with no date function, so the dial carries only the chronograph counter and the engraved pattern.
