Overview
The Twenty~4 in a round case, self-winding
The Patek Philippe Twenty~4 Automatic, reference 7300/1200A-011, in steel with a double-row diamond bezel of 160 stones, a sunburst olive green dial with white gold applied numerals, on the fully polished steel bracelet. Self-winding calibre 26-330 S C with sweep seconds and date at 6 o'clock; 36 mm round case, 10.05 mm high.
This execution carries a sunburst olive green dial with white gold applied numerals and white gold rounded baton hands with white luminescent coating, on the fully polished steel bracelet, whose patented fold-over clasp Patek Philippe notes is secured by four independent catches.
The reference 7300 is the Twenty~4 Automatic, the collection's round-cased, self-winding form, 36 mm across and 10.05 mm high, with the bezel set with a double row of diamonds — 160 stones, 0.81 ct — in what Patek Philippe calls a "Dentelle" setting. The executions are steel with a sunburst dial in blue, in grey with a black-gradient rim, or in olive green, and rose gold with a sunburst brown dial or a silvery dial in a "shantung" satin finish; each is on a fully polished bracelet in the case metal with a patented fold-over clasp. The back is sapphire crystal.
The movement is the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C: 27 mm across, 3.59 mm high, 215 parts and 30 jewels, wound by a 21K gold central rotor and seen through the case back. The seconds run from the centre and the date sits in an aperture at 6 o'clock, framed in white gold. It beats at 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour on a Gyromax® balance with a Spiromax® balance spring, for a power reserve of 35 to 45 hours, and carries the Patek Philippe Seal. Applied numerals and rounded baton hands carry white luminescent coating, which Patek Philippe presents as what gives the dial its contrast.
For collectors
Patek Philippe's own distinction for the 7300 is the case: round, 36 mm, with a mechanical movement behind a sapphire back.
