The Patek Philippe Nautilus Haute Joaillerie, reference 5990/1422G-001, in white gold set with 406 baguette-cut diamonds (33.11 cts) and 192 baguette-cut rubies (17.22 cts); sunburst charcoal grey dial with a black-gradient rim. Self-winding calibre CH 28-520 C FUS, flyback chronograph and Travel Time; 40.5 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock, 12.53 mm high.
This execution pairs diamonds with rubies: 406 baguette-cut diamonds (33.11 cts) and 192 baguette-cut rubies (17.22 cts) in all. The case and crown are set with diamonds; the bezel carries 32 baguette diamonds (4.47 cts) and 32 baguette rubies (6.13 cts), the hour markers are 4 baguette-cut and 6 princess-cut rubies, and the bracelet is invisibly set with 324 baguette diamonds (24.96 cts) and 150 baguette rubies (10.98 cts).
The reference 5990 in its Haute Joaillerie form is the Nautilus flyback chronograph with Travel Time in white gold, set entirely with baguette- and princess-cut stones: the case carries 38 baguette diamonds (3.48 cts) and the crown 12 (0.2 ct). The dial is sunburst charcoal grey with a black-gradient rim, horizontally embossed. The case is 40.5 mm from 10 to 4 o'clock and 12.53 mm high, with a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal back.
The bracelet's baguettes are held by the invisible setting technique Patek Philippe names, a setting with no metal visible between the stones. Beneath is the self-winding calibre CH 28-520 C FUS: 31 mm across, 6.95 mm high, 370 parts, 34 jewels, a 21K gold central rotor. Travel Time gives two hour hands, a solid one for local time and a skeletonised one for home time, each with a day/night aperture, and a date hand that follows local time; the chronograph is a flyback with a central hand and a 60-minute counter. It runs at 28,800 semi-oscillations an hour on a Gyromax® balance with a Spiromax® balance spring, for 45 to 55 hours of power reserve, and carries the Patek Philippe Seal.
