The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Rattrapante HONEYGOLD® “Homage to F. A. Lange”, reference 425.050, in an 18-carat HONEYGOLD® case, 41.2 mm across and 12.6 mm high, with a black dial. Manually wound calibre L101.2 with chronograph, on a dark brown alligator leather strap with a HONEYGOLD® prong buckle.
A. Lange & Söhne no longer makes this reference. Lange limits this version to 100 pieces; it belongs to the “Homage to F. A. Lange” edition.
Lange calls the 1815 Rattrapante its first pure split-seconds chronograph and says it rests on classic design and construction concepts. This version has a black dial in solid silver.
The movement is calibre L101.2, manually wound, with 365 parts and a reserve of 58 hours; the balance beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations an hour (3.0 Hz). Lange lists the chronograph as its function. The case is 12.6 mm high, water resistant to 3 bar, with a sapphire glass case back. The strap is alligator leather, closed with a prong buckle in the case metal.
