The Jacob & Co. Mystery Tourbillon 44MM, reference SN810.30.AB.UB.A, in an 18-carat white gold case, 44 mm across and 21 mm high. Its 18-carat white gold hour and minute rings are set with amethysts and white diamonds, on a white alligator leather strap with an 18-carat white gold folding clasp.
This watch has no hands. Hours and minutes are shown on two concentric rings set with gems, and a pair of pointers marks the time. Jacob & Co. presents the display as a nod to mystery clocks, whose workings seemed to have no visible explanation.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM49 has 460 components and a 30-hour power reserve. Its tourbillon sits at the centre of the watch, has no upper bridge and turns on three axes, in 60, 120 and 120 seconds. Jacob & Co. says the carriage is covered for the first time by a flower-shaped decorative structure that turns with it. This version is a pièce unique.
