Overview
Two time zones, each with its own minutes
The Jacob & Co. Dual Time Zone MAD Paris from The World is Yours collection, reference DT100.11.AA.AA.ABTAA, in a black DLC steel case, 43 mm across and 14 mm high. Its black PVD titanium dial has stamped continents with SuperLumiNova city dots, on a black Cordura strap with a black DLC steel pin buckle.
Jacob & Co. says this is the first model made with MAD Paris, and the night-time counterpart to the day-time dials of The World is Yours. The case, dial and continents are black, and the city dots on the map glow in the dark. Jacob & Co. says the design draws on a vintage watch with two time zones, which Jacob Arabo received from his father at the age of 13.
Self-winding calibre JCAA14 lets each sub-dial be set on its own, so each shows its own hour and minute. That suits time zones offset by 15, 30 or 45 minutes. The crown has three positions: winding, setting the lower time zone and setting the upper one. This version is limited to 101 pieces.
