A V16 engine block in a sapphire case
The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon Sapphire Crystal, reference BU310.80.AA.AA.ABRUA, in a solid sapphire crystal case with 18-carat rose gold details, 55 x 44 mm and 15 mm high. It is on a green rubber strap with louvres and a gold and titanium deployment buckle. This version is limited to 6 pieces.

Jacob & Co. and Bugatti have been partners since 2019, and this watch shares its name with Bugatti’s Tourbillon hypercar. The case shape follows the car, with a front grille and a radiator inlet on each side, and the sub-dials are drawn like the car’s dashboard. The caseback, caseband and upper bezel are cut from solid transparent sapphire, which Jacob & Co. says took over 800 hours of machining.
Hand-wound calibre JCAM55 has 557 components, 74 jewels and an 80-hour power reserve. Hours and minutes are both retrograde: each hand sweeps a 270-degree arc, then returns to zero, and the hour hand also jumps to the next hour. The flying tourbillon turns in 30 seconds.
